For cafetiere and filter, we recommend 15g of medium ground coffee per 250ml cup of boiled water for ~4 mins.

For espresso, use 9g of fine ground coffee per 30ml water for 25-30 seconds.

Our coffee bags are fully-recyclable as code #5 LDPE which is the same as plastic carrier bags. Many supermarkets have a plastic recycling recycling facility — you can find your local facility on the Recycle Now website.

Shade grown coffee grown using organic methods is better for the environment: there are no synthetic fertilizers or chemicals used in growing or production, organic farms can help combat climate change by emitting less carbon than a chemical farm, and they also sequester significant amounts of carbon.

As well as this, organically grown coffee is rich in healthy antioxidants. Our producers benefit from fair trade agreements and better working conditions. It is a win win for the planet, the producers and you as a consumer.

All online orders are currently distributed through our roastery Owens Coffee - www.owenscoffee.com

Orders must be received before 16:00 (Mon – Fri) to be processed same-day. If your order is placed after 4pm, your delivery may not be processed until the next working day and 24 hour / 48 hour delivery time will apply from the date of processing.

Please note that we process / post orders on weekdays only. If you place an order during the weekend (or on a Bank Holiday), it will be processed on the next available working day. During peak mail-order periods (e.g. after Bank Holidays, the Christmas period) and during periods where any strike action is taking place by the postal delivery service, deliveries may be extended slightly, although every effort will be made to deliver your order as soon as possible.
